How to link your first account
Connecting your bank account allows NewTracker to automatically import and categorize your transactions so you can track your finances effortlessly.
Follow the steps below to link your first account.
Step 1: Go to the Accounts Page
After logging in, open the Accounts section from the main menu.
Click Add Account to begin connecting your bank.
Step 2: Select Your Bank
Search for your bank from the list of supported institutions.

You can type your bank's name in the search bar to find it quickly.
Step 3: Sign in to Your Bank
You will be redirected to a secure connection window provided by Plaid.
Enter your banking credentials directly in the Plaid interface and follow the instructions provided by your bank. Some banks may require two-factor authentication (2FA) during this step.
NewTracker never sees or stores your banking credentials.
Step 4: Choose the Accounts to Import
Once authenticated, you will see a list of accounts available at your bank (for example checking, savings, or credit cards).
Select the accounts you want to sync with Newtraacker.

Step 5: Finish the Connection
Click Confirm to complete the connection.
NewTracker will begin importing your transactions. This process may take a couple of minutes, depending on the number of transactions that need to be retrieved from your bank.
If you do not immediately see your transactions, try refreshing the Transactions page after a short moment.
